now this/Critical Mass:

Music at Large at Freight & Salvage, September 27, 2021

I've had a continuing focus on creative structures for improvisation, working with artists from a range of practice: dance, poetry, theater and visual arts. I continue to produce interdisciplinary and multicultural productions and to seek performers who strive for modes of expression that honor their traditions while speaking to the urgency of the present. I try to bring the transformative nature of human collaboration to all my projects.

This performance features music, poetry and movement, all rapped into one, in celebration and demonstration of solidarity with all the folks—artists of all callings, who have sustained me/us and whom we have tried to learn from. Art is one form of the struggle because Art reminds us of who we are, which is ultimately what we are fighting for, to be who we are.

Hope you can make it!
